Does this sound familiar?

  • Their mock came back as a 5 or 6, but they need a 7.
  • They need a 7 for sixth form or A-Level Maths.
  • They understand the lessons, but lose marks in the exam.
  • You don't know what grade they are really at.
  • The exam is getting closer and time is running out.

If you said yes to any of these, this programme is for you.

Is this right for your child?

This is for

  • Year 10–11 students
  • Higher tier (AQA, Edexcel, OCR, WJEC Eduqas)
  • Working at a 5 or 6
  • Ready to do homework every week

This is not for

  • Foundation tier
  • Only want 1–2 lessons before the exam
  • Won't do homework

How it works

  1. 01

    £10 trial session (30 minutes)

A 1-to-1 session where we work through a real past paper with your child. I find their level and show you where they lose marks.

    What happens
    • A 30-minute video call on Google Meet. Your child does not need to prepare.
    • We work through a real past paper together, so I can see how they think.
    • I tell you their current level, their weak topics, and what it will take to reach a 7.
    • £10, paid by bank transfer before the session. This offer ends 30 November 2026.
  2. 02

    A clear plan

Which topics to fix first, and a target grade for each month.

    What happens
    • The weak topics, in order: what to fix first.
    • A target grade for each month until the exam.
    • We agree the plan together before lessons start.
  3. 03

    Weekly 1-to-1 lessons

Online, every week, fixing weak topics and practising real exam questions until they reach a 7.

    What happens
    • A 1-hour lesson on Google Meet every week.
    • Homework every week, checked by me.
    • A progress report for you every month.

What's included

Weekly 1-to-1 online lesson

Every lesson is about your child's weak topics. Nothing else.

Exam technique training

Many students know the maths but lose marks in the exam. We fix this.

Past papers marked against real grade boundaries

You see their real grade, not a guess.

Weekly homework, checked

Practice every week builds skill. I check it, so no mistake is missed.

WhatsApp help between lessons (reply within 24h)

If they get stuck on homework, they do not wait a week for help.

Monthly progress report for parents

Every month, you see what they did and how close they are to a 7.

“Whether your child is on a 5 or already on a 7, I specialise in one thing: getting them to the top grades.”

From a 5 to a 7, or a 7 to a 9, the maths is usually already there. The marks are lost in the exam: careless slips, not showing working, running out of time on the harder questions. That gap is exactly what I fix.

For 4 years, I have taught GCSE Maths 1-to-1: more than 300 hours with over 60 students. Every one of them passed, including students with special educational needs.

My lessons are simple and clear. We find the weak topics, fix them, and practise real exam questions until they can pick up the marks. Every month, I tell you how your child is doing and how close they are to their target grade.

The Grade 7–9 Guarantee

“If your child does all the work and gets below a grade 7, I will give you back every penny you paid for lessons.”

To use the guarantee, your child must

  • Attend every weekly lesson
  • Do all homework
  • Do every set past paper, and redo them until they score 90% or more
  • Sit the Higher paper
  • Start before 31 December of Year 11

This is not extra work. This is exactly what the programme is. The risk is on me, not you.

Read the full guarantee terms
  1. The guaranteed minimum is a grade 7. Grades 8 and 9 are the aim, not the promise.
  2. The guarantee applies if your child gets below a grade 7 in GCSE Maths.
  3. The guarantee is for students on the Grade 7–9 Programme: students working at a grade 5 or 6 on the Higher paper.
  4. Your child must meet all 5 conditions above.
  5. If the guarantee applies, I refund 100% of the lesson fees you paid for the Grade 7–9 Programme.
  6. To claim, send me your child's official GCSE results slip within 30 days of results day. I pay the refund within 14 days.
  7. The £10 trial session is not part of the Grade 7–9 Programme, so it is not refunded under the guarantee.

Questions parents ask

How do online lessons work?

On Google Meet, with a shared whiteboard, on a laptop or tablet.

Which exam boards?

AQA, Edexcel, OCR, WJEC Eduqas (Higher).

What happens in the £10 trial session?

A 30-minute video call on Google Meet. We work through a real past paper with your child, so I can see how they think. Then I tell you where they are now, where they lose marks, and how we can get them to a 7. No pressure and no commitment.

How do I pay for the trial session?

By bank transfer. After you book a time, I send you my bank details on WhatsApp. Please pay the £10 before the session. The £10 price is for bookings made by 30 November 2026. After the trial, lessons are £35 per hour.

Below a grade 5?

I can still help. The guarantee is for 5–6 only.

How long does it take?

Usually weekly lessons until the exam. We agree a plan after the trial session.

Missed lessons?

Give 24 hours' notice to move a lesson. Missed lessons without notice are charged.

Are you DBS checked?

Yes. I have an Enhanced DBS check, and I am on the DBS Update Service, so it is always up to date. I am happy to show you my certificate before the first lesson.
